What is the process for managing change for technology leaders ?-III ( View of Change in our world, as a leader or as an employee)
Leaders may not be able to track the total changes employees follow . By managing change as a portfolio, Leaders can follow the contribution of employees to change in a healthy way . In a top-down approach to change, leaders often see separate, discrete changes.
But employee experience — can be very different :), especially in cases where multiple changes occur at the same time. Employees see these different changes as a sum of change that is not fragmented but continuity :
With the portfolio management method, organizations have the opportunity to reduce risks from multiple changes. Accordingly, the ability of IT employees to assimilate change increases. It tracks changes, ranks them appropriately, and can manage the total portfolio of changes.
Employees need to understand what they need to do to successfully implement change. IT leaders should support facilitating conversations between teams so that employees can learn from each other. This approach helps employees to personally understand the actions they need to take to successfully achieve change. Change management is not done with leaders who cannot act planned and who do not have a complete view of how change affects employees.
