Suggestions for those who will start a DevOps initiative

Let’s say you have a company, you have a new project in the cloud that you will progress with the DevOps solution. It would be good to define a vision at the planning stage. In other words, how to install the DevOps on your project. You need to understand current state or what is happening right now. You need to deal with changes in the operating model, or basically how the organization needs to be changed and processes within the organization.

You need to create the DevOps platform. Next, we need to create instructions on how to create and distribute the software. From there, we basically build the team, the application portfolio, and prioritize which applications will be used in DevOps infrastructures. We apply everything we learned from the previous stage. Then, at its core, we apply the second wave in terms of how we deal with teams and applications and how to incorporate them.

Eventually the DevOps team and DevOps engineering are mobilized. They are trained, ready to go, ready to choose the means. We create a center of excellence for DevOps within the organization. Teams then work in coordination and progress using tools. Then the final stage is…
